We develop and deliver technology and systems that support stable and efficient landbased aquaculture operations
Who we are
A technology partner for land based aquaculture
Pure Salmon Technology develops and delivers land-based RAS facilities for the global aquaculture industry. We combine engineering expertise, digital tools, and operational experience to create facilities built for stable performance and long-term operation.
Our team consists of more than 80 specialists, headquartered in Norway with operations in Denmark and the UAE. We support customers through the full project lifecycle, from early-stage design and planning to upgrades, commissioning, and operational support.
Since 2010, we have delivered RAS facilities along the Norwegian coastline, ranging from small and medium-sized plants to large-scale smolt facilities. In recent years, we have expanded internationally with projects in markets including Japan and Australia.

We take leadership in the global aquaculture industry, being the preferred life-time partner, attracting and developing the best talents while ensuring sustainability.
Pure Salmon Technology builds on the legacy of Krüger Kaldnes, established in 1989 as a specialist in water treatment and process technology. The company’s early innovations in biological treatment and water quality management became an important foundation for the development of modern RAS technology.
In 2007, the company became part of Veolia Water Technologies, where the aquaculture division continued to grow as a specialist within land-based fish farming. In 2021, the aquaculture division was acquired by 8F Asset Management and became part of Pure Salmon Group.
Today, Pure Salmon Technology combines decades of water treatment expertise with modern aquaculture engineering, supporting customers worldwide in developing reliable land-based fish farming facilities.
