On September 1st, Hanche-Olsen will start as a fish health specialist at the RAS provider Pure Salmon Technology.
I look forward to contributing what I can to ensure that the technology is adapted to the fish and not the other way around, says the fish health biologist.

Hanche-Olsen has a varied background and experience in the field of fish health. From the fish health service HAVET on the Helgeland coast, via the broodstock program at the former SalmoBreed, to clinical researcher at PHARMAQ. She now comes from a position as product manager for Stembiont at Previwo. In addition, she has served as the professional political leader in Tekna Aquaculture and Fish Health for over 10 years.
“I look forward to taking on new challenges at Pure Salmon Technology. In Pure Salmon Technology, biology is a central piece already from the drawing board and we in fish health have a clear voice right from the planning stage. -I also look forward to following up on new facilities from the interaction phase, project execution, and through to the start-up period. This provides a unique opportunity to better understand how different technological solutions affect the fish’s biology and health, and how we can improve this interaction”
